Public Island, Private Island

Here is something that needs talking about. In most places there is a mixture of public space and private space. Think of any town: there are places where anyone can go, like the streets and the public buildings like libraries. Then there are the places where only some people can go, like your own private house, where only you and your family and people you invite can go. Another example, only the mad scientists have access to the supersecret laboratory.

So on Island, where does the private stop and the public begin?
